Der Augsburg Innovationspark ist ein zukunftsweisendes Projekt der Region Augsburg. Auf knapp 70 Hektar Fläche, so groß wie rund hundert Fußballfelder, entsteht zentrumsnah einer der größten Innovationsparks Europas, dessen Herzstück das Technologiezentrum bildet.

Auf dem modernen Campusgelände, das Leben, Arbeiten und Wohnen auf besondere Weise verbindet, werden sich langfristig Tausende von Fachkräften herausfordernden Aufgaben stellen. Unternehmen und wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen vernetzen sich über diese Plattform zu Projekten im Rahmen von Industrie 4.0, Leichtbau und Faserverbund, Mechatronik und Automation, IT und Embedded Systems, Umwelttechnik, Luft und Raumfahrt und tragen so zur langfristigen Entwicklung eines international anerkannten Zentrums für Ressourceneffizienz bei.

The Augsburg Innovationspark is a future-oriented project of the Augsburg region. One of the largest science parks in Europe is emerging, close to the centre of Augsburg City, on an area of 70 hectares, which is approximately the size of 100 football fields. The heart of this science park is the technology centre which boasts modern campus grounds which combines working, living and lifestyle in an exceptional way. This will be where, in future, thousands of skilled personnel undertake challenging tasks. Businesses and research institutes use this platform to network with other projects concerning topics such as the internet of things, lightweight construction and fibre composites, mechatronics and automation, IT and embedded systems, environmental technology and aerospace.
